Following the launch of the ‘Groom’s Gifts’ initiative there has been an outpouring of support from the local business community, with a number of runner-up prizes being kindly donated to the draw.
Federal Member for Groom, Garth Hamilton has expressed his gratitude towards local businesses for getting behind the initiative.
“The response from our local small businesses has been overwhelming.”
“These contributions not only enrich the prize pool but also reinforce the community-centric ethos of Groom. This is truly a testament to the unity and generosity of our local small businesses.”
The expanded prize pool now offers an even greater incentive for residents to shop locally, with generous donations including a:
- Fuel Voucher from Zimms Corner
- Facial of your choice from Toowoomba Body Sculpting
- Yeti drinkware set from the Weber Store
- Confectionary Hamper from Pittsworth Confectionary
- 1/18 Atom RTR 4WD Electric RC Monster Truck from Wings Over the Downs Hobbies.
“Thanks to these generous donations, ‘Groom’s Gifts’ is now poised to offer an even more rewarding experience to customers, while simultaneously bolstering the small business sector in Groom,” Mr Hamilton said.
“It’s a win-win for everyone involved.”
Local businesses interested in being involved in the initiative are still welcome to participate and can contact Mr Hamilton’s office for details.
