This month, I will be travelling to the United States as the Coalition’s representative for the United Nations General Assembly, and will take part in a range of meetings and activities.
This forum provides an important platform to address matters of energy security, economic stability, national security, infrastructure and technology. It is vital that Australia’s perspective is represented in these discussions, and I am honoured to contribute on behalf of the Coalition. Importantly, the Opposition must remain engaged in world affairs.
For Groom, these discussions matter. Decisions made at the global level in which our government of the day chooses to participate can affect our local industries, the viability of our small businesses, and the opportunities for people building their futures here in our community.
While I am overseas, my Toowoomba electorate office will remain open and fully operational, with my team available to assist constituents with any federal matters.
